Sadiaa Black Beauty Guide has announced the February edition of its networking series aimed at connecting local Black beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts.
All facets of the Black beauty industry — from hairstylists, barbers and fashion designers to makeup and nail artists and skincare experts — are invited to mix, mingle and network, as well as explore opportunities to raise their own brand profiles.
This month’s theme is “Curls and Crowns” and will feature filmmaker Tasha Edinbyrd, co-producer of the forthcoming film, Take Back The Crown. Tasha will be showcasing an exclusive trailer of her new natural hair documentary exploring the economics of this billion-dollar industry and joining us in a discussion on how to secure the bag in this billion-dollar industry.
The mixer series is curated and hosted by Sadiaa founder and Hype Hair digital editor, Stephenetta (isis) Harmon. She will also be sharing insider tips for beauty businesses to get press and features in publications.
Presented by Sadiaa Black Beauty Guide in association with Art of Digital Influence. Swag bags sponsored by Curls for the first 50 attendees. Light fare and drinks.
The Sadiaa Black Beauty Mixer “Curls and Crowns’ edition takes place February 20, 2020 from 7-10 pm at AODI, located at 211 North Ervay Street in Dallas. Light fare and drinks will be provided.
