Cardi B has proven time and time again that she is not afraid to take risks — whether it’s music, fashion or clapbacks. And that’s why the Money emcee stays winning.

Her latest bold move came Sunday (Feb. 10) night at the 61st annual Grammys as she hit the red carpet in a 1995 fall Thierry Mugler couture gown.

Cardi served body and face while posing it up in the vintage black dress that opened up into a pink oyster finished off with a nude bodice and pearls galore. She rocked pearls wrapped around her waist, her neck, and sleek updo.

With arguably the fashion moment of the night, Cardi had fashionistas gagging (and haters clowning) over the look originally worn by model Simonetta Gianfelici.

Let’s face it, haute couture can be a tricky thing for the uninitiated, and Twitter had mad jokes — saying the look channeled everything from a peeled banana and Little Mermaid to a coffee filter.

Regardless, all eyes were on her (we almost didn’t notice that she walked in with Offset) as she served up fashion history.
