Everything Taraji P. Henson touches turns to gold and her latest ‘Porter Magazine‘ cover spread is no exception! Photographed by Sam Taylor Johnson, the Hollywood powerhouse flaunts a natural beauty beat crafted by Francesca Tolot and a chic tousled bob slay created by her go-to stylist Tym Wallace.
Styled by the talented Tracy Morgan, the beauty blurs the lines between casual chic and high fashion
Inside the spread, the actress talks pay gaps in Hollywood, therapy, marriage and more.
On pay gaps in Hollywood:
“They wanna pay what?” she gasps of the low fees some studios still offer. “‘Honey, a zero is missing. Tell them to go find it then call me back.’ If you come to Taraji P. Henson, you need to come with that money, because I earned it.”
“I go every Saturday to therapy,” she says. “Just because you see me on television doesn’t make those voices in my head go away.”
On fiancé Kelvin Hayden’s proposal:
“His hand was all clammy,” she laughs. “Dude, you have been quizzing me for a year about getting married. Do you think I’m gonna say no?!”
