Cardi B is making more money moves in a new fashion collabo with Reebok. The rapper is now the new face of the sportswear giant’s ’90s-inspired Aztrek trainer, along with select clothing from its Classics collection.
She made the announcement Monday (Nov. 5) on Instagram, with Reebok following up with an official statement.
“Everything that you love about Cardi is what you love about Reebok,” the brand said via press release. “Reebok has a long-standing legacy of nonconformity, whether it’s creating the first workout shoe exclusively for women or putting bold-faced expletives and fresh-faced hip-hop stars in its big ad campaigns in the early ’00s.”
She joins an impressive roster of celeb ambassadors who have collaborated with Reebok over the years, including Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Pharrell and Gal Gadot. It appears she will also have her own own line of apparel with Reebok under the terms of the deal.
This marks Cardi’s third brand deal, adding to her partnerships with Steve Madden and her new line launching with Fashion Nova on Nov. 15.
