Tropical vibes were abound at Christian Siriano‘s S/S 2019 presentation at New York City’s Gotham Hall on September 10. Inspired by “the perfect Hawaiian dream vacation,” the collection featured a bold mix of vibrant colors, florals, animal on animal imprints and textured detailing.

“I wanted the collection to feel playful, colorful, bright and romantic with femininity, but still powerful and exciting,” said Siriano.

Of course, we were also excited about his ever-inclusive model casting, which featured a diverse range of thick and thin beauties strutting their stuff in teeny weeny afros, straight back twists and cornrows for the avant garde show.
