Haircare brand Aveda is bringing back a customer fave in celebration of its 40th anniversary. The brand has jsut relaunched its Cherry Almond conditioner (originally Cherry Almond Bark) with a revamped vegan formula and accompanying shampoo.
The conditioner was discontinued over a decade ago after lining shelves for over 30 years. The relaunch collection features naturally-derived cherry blossom extract and sweet almond oil to help restore softness and shine while babassu and coconut-derived ingredients deeply, yet gently cleanse hair while maintaining healthy lipids and oils.
The signature cherry almond aroma is crafted with 38 plant and flower essences designed to infuse hair with a sweet, floral scent.
“With a mixture of fruitiness and a floral sweetness, the playfulness of this aroma makes it very different from other Aveda aromas. The bright, joyful, pretty aroma embodies a carefree but close to nature aura,” said Guy Vincent, Aveda head of Aveda Pure-Fume Aroma, in a statement.
The 98% naturally-derived and silicone-free collection retails at $17 each for the 8.5 oz shampoo and the 6.7 oz conditioner.
