Nigerian hairstylist Azubuike Eneoma and photographer Emmanuel Arewa team to create a hair portfolio series celebrating the beauty of natural hair. The series, dubbed Hairditorial, plays on all forms of Black hair textures — from ’70s-inspired afros and towering sleek sculptures to stretched out crowns and mixed kinks and colors.
The creative team also pays homage to traditional Calabar bridal wigs. “It is a perfect blend of contemporary beauty portraits, hair sculpture with brand new creative interpretations,” shares Emmanuel Arewa.
