Kelly Rowland redefines flawlessness in her latest editorial spread for Vogue Australia August 2018. Fresh off her stint on The Voice Australia, the R&B superstar (she’s sold nearly 90 million records) serves edgy model vibes while styled to perfection in a mix of rocker chic looks from Michael Kors, Christopher Kane and Burberry styled by Petta Chua.
Her luscious mane comes courtesy of custom wigstress Mich Rich, who styled up the beauty in lioness crown of voluminous texture along with muted and brushed back waves.
Inside, the singer and “coaching queen” keeps it raw and real as she talks life lessons, motherhood and getting back into the studio.
On skipping workout regimen to spend more time with her son, Titan:
When I go back home it’s all about wrapping up this record, so it’s been awesome to spend so much time with him. He loves it here, between the water and the food, and he has buddies here; he is so content.
On her new album:
“It’s about love, loss and gain and whether it’s professional or with family or whatever, it’s just honest. I had no choice but to be honest and authentic with this record: it’s about friendship and marriage.”
On what she loves most about herself (besides being a total badass):
“Being brown, being like a brown-skinned girl, that’s the best part of being me”.
