“My phone just started vibrating rapidly for a long, long time,” Anok told Boston Globe when she first went viral. “At first, I honestly thought someone made a meme of me or something.”

The biochemistry major said has always had an interest in fashion and art, but she never thought she would actually be able to pursue it as a career.

“It was a dream that I always wanted, but I wasn’t sure if it was going to happen,” she said.

Well, it did. All the attention resulted in offers from three different modeling agencies. She eventually decide to sign with Next Models management, announcing the deal Tuesday.

We can’t wait to see where this new adventure takes her!
