HH:  We noticed you rock a lot of really cute and intricate designs with your natural hair. What inspires your styles?
SJ: Usually when I go to red carpets, my stylist and I will get together and think of how we want the hair and makeup to be. Other times, I just let the stylist pick and try something new!

HH: Who are these stylists responsible for all your amazing hairstyles and what kind of tips have you gotten from them on keeping your hair healthy?
SJ: I work with Alexander Armand and Felicia Leatherwood. Felicia has always told me, whenever I’m not going out or on a carpet, to just keep my hair moisturized and in a protected style, and drink a lot of water. Especially in California because it is really dry here!

Hype Hair:  What kind of styles do you rock when off the carpet?
Skai Jackson: Usually, I do a double-strand twist to keep my hair protected. I don’t like to wear my hair out all the time, so I will throw it in a bun, braids, or any other protective style. I also use all-natural products on my hair.

HH: What are those products?
SJ: Some of my favorite products I use are Jamaican Black Castor Oil, jojoba oil and Jane Carter’s products. They work great for my hair type.
