Newly appointed British Vogue Editor-In-Chief Edward Enninful is making waves once again with the latest additions to his editorial team. After tapping supermodel icon Naomi Campbell and Steve McQueen as contributors earlier this month, Edward has now called on legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath to be his beauty editor-at-large.
To say Pat McGrath is a beauty industry heavyweight is an understatement. The beauty boss made history last month as the first makeup artist to ever receive the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Founder’s Award and helped relaunch a limited collection of Max Factor Cosmetics in the US last year.
The beauty icon consistently graces the covers of fashion tomes and can be seen on a who’s who list of personalities, including Naomi Campbell and Rihanna. And, let’s not forget her cosmetics empire giving us access to all of the amazing hues, sparkles and glosses she uses to create her iconic looks.
A host of industry insiders were also announced, including British model Adwoa Aboah, Val Garland, Sam McKnight, Guido Palau and Charlotte Tilbury.
“All inspirational and highly-regarded in their individual fields, I’m really excited to see my vision for the British Vogue team come to fruition,” said Enninful about his new appointments. “I’m very much looking forward to working with everyone on forthcoming issues.”
Congratulations to Pat for this major new role!
