Having Unrealistic Expectations
Be clear, your hair will rarely ever look EXACTLY like the picture. Sorry. Everyone’s hair textures and face shapes are different so the hairstyles will look different, too. Also, if you hair texture, type, length, etc. don’t even match the style you’re trying to dupe, be prepared for your stylist to recommend something more suitable for what you’re working with.

Don’t be too quick to judge the work your stylist is doing. Perfection takes time. So give them a minute to work through the style before getting your panties in a bunch. Ask when is a good place to see and assess the look.

Not Being Honest
At the same time, you can identify if a look is way off the mark. So, don’t be afraid to speak up as appropriate. At the end of the day, your ‘do represents the stylist and she wants you to love her work.
