More than just an actress, mother of one, and wife, Kerry Washington is adding on another title to her already impressive repertoire. The 38-year-old Scandal actress, whose sense of style radiates on and off the red carpet, has been named the first-ever creative ambassador for nail polish brand OPI.
With her newly appointed role, Washington will be responsible for co-curating the popular line’s shades and conjure up fanciful polish names. The company’s cofounder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann said Washington was a natural fit for the role.
“Kerry [has] unquestionably become a role model for women everywhere,” said Weiss-Fischmann. “She truly empowers women of all ages. She is bold, fashionable, and loves nail lacquer.

OPI’s broad spectrum of fashionable colors and iconic names have become an industry standard. I’m thrilled to work with Suzi on developing gorgeous new shades and exciting new names.”
