Yarn dreads are a trendy and inexpensive protective style that is great for theses summer months. The cost of the yarn is less than the cost of Marley and Kanekalon hair and the variety of colors allows you to express and embrace your individuality.
“Be yourself, don’t worry about what people will think of your hairstyle, if you love it then that is all that matters,” Lashawn said. “Don’t be afraid to try new colors or new styles and remember life is too short to live under someone else’s perception of what beauty is. You are beautiful, have fun and enjoy life.”
As with any other braided hairstyle, installing these luscious locs takes practice and lots of patience. We love to have our hair done and, unfortunately, those long dreaded hours (pun intended) cannot be avoided, but it is all worth it in the end.
