I have what I believe is healthy obsession with my cosmetics. I love getting ready to go out more than I actually like going out and I watch my fair share of YouTube tutorials just to play in makeup when I’m bored. But as much I enjoy makeup, I also feel just as comfortable leaving the house without it. I’m learning, however, that a high percentage of women who have a very different relationship with their makeup.
Heavy makeup and contouring––the use of dark and light shades to either slim the face or highlight; a method that at one time was only seen on TV, editorial shoots and runways––is becoming a part of some women’s everyday regimens and allowing them to completely alter the appearance of their facial structure.
