Titi Branch, co-founder of natural hair care line Miss Jessie’s, died Dec. 4, according to an obituary published to NV Magazine. The 45-year-old’s death was a result of a suicide by asphyxia, which was first only speculated then later confirmed by a family friend to The Washington Post.
Along with her sister Miko, the women created a brand that was considered one of the most popular go-to brands for black hair. They also recruited notable celebrities to become brand ambassadors, such as Marsha Ambrosius.
Our prayers go out to the Branch family and the entire Miss Jessie’s team.
