The female body goes through a copious amount of changes during pregnancy, and understandably so since new life is about to emerge from it! Most of those changes we expect, have read about or are at least a bit familiar with. But there are some issues, including labor pains, that can totally blindside any expecting mother.
I guess I’ve officially entered that age bracket where pregnancy is common, because now more than ever before, I’m hearing personal horror stories about changes the body makes during and after pregnancy.
As cute as babies are, unfortunately they take a toll on everything from your weight and your health to your hair! As a woman, I thought I was pretty well-informed on the topic, outside of actually having a child myself, but there are a few possible body changes that even I was unaware of and postpartum hair loss, caused by the increase in estrogen during pregnancy and the gradual decrease of estrogen the body experiences after pregnancy, is at the top of that list.
