How To: Flat Twist Out Using Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Collection

image-2Before I allowed my hair to dry, I detangled so there was no attitudes while styling. When doing any kind of twist out styles, you want your hair to be smooth (combed out with a fine tooth comb) and stretched for the best defined results. So, while air drying, I cleaned my whole house, cooked dinner, watched three Food Network shows, and caught up on 2 hours of Instagram and Twitter lol. I continued to stretch by using a wide tooth comb making sure it was tangle free, and reached for the Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Nourishing & Conditioning Styling Butter . I applied this on my hair after adding a little water to soak it in, sectioned and added a nickel size to each flat twist because natural girls don’t know what “dime size” is lol.

I sectioned my hair this way because of how I wanted my hair to fall. I love styling with a side part as of lately. When I was younger you couldn’t pay me in gum to wear a side part. Maybe it came with my age lol. After twisting, I sealed my ends with a little of the butter + oil because being that your ends are the oldest part of your hair, it deserves a little extra TLC.
