Our hair should be the last thing we’re worried about when we’re exercising or playing sports. Yet, many Black women find themselves stressing about how they’ll maintain their style after a workout. The sweaty scalp and dry tresses are not a good look, but there hasn’t been a solution for these issues until recently.
Enter: Sunday II Sunday.
Active lifestyles no longer have to be hindered by our hair struggles, thanks to this brand. Sunday II Sunday, created by new consumer goods startup Infinite Looks Inc., includes four primary products, all tasked to balance and revive your tresses after a workout: Edge Flourish Daily Nourishing Serum, Revive Me Daily Moisturizing Spray, Root Refresh Micellar Rinse and Sooth Me Daily Scalp Serum. Sunday II Sunday also offers Hair Flourish Vegan Biotin Gummies and Tea Tree, Argan and Peppermint essential oils for added scalp care.
Infinite Looks received an investment from Johnson & Johnson to scale the direct-to-consumer brand, meaning we’re due to see much more from the textured hair care collection very soon. Infinite Looks Founder and CEO, Keenan Beasley, said Sunday II Sunday is just getting started with its effort to change Black women’s relationship with the gym and their hair.
“It’s important for me to make sure that we feel comfortable working out, and we’re not skipping those days in the gym or those runs; those activities that are actually making us healthy,” he says.
Hype Hair chatted with the serial entrepreneur to get the details on this brand-on-the-rise and what to expect next from this innovative hair care collection.
