The 2020 Emmy’s were a major beauty fest. Celebs pulled out their own red carpets Sunday (Sept. 20) night for the social distancing affair and served up major face and fashion with their glam squads.

Tops on the list was Zendaya who, as usual, gave us fashion life while making award history. That’s right, the 24-year-old Euphoria star is now the youngest woman to ever win an Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.

And, she brought all of that drama to her looks styled by Law Roach. For her first appearance, she twirled it up in a voluminous screen-stealing purple and black gown by Black fashion designer Christopher John Rogers paired with a chic brushed back bun with a deep side part coiffed by Larry Sims.

Law’s Instagram caption says it all: “If Emmy was a real girl.”

Later that evening, for her award-winning look, she gave us ’60s glam vibes in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé black matte polka dot skirt with powder-pink polka dots, and a pearl- and crystal-embroidered black velvet bandeau top.

She completed the look with a messy updo with tons of texture and volume.

While we were in fashion heaven, Zendaya acknowledged the strangeness of our new virtual reality and the gravity of her show, especially in the midst of a pandemic and civil unrest.

“I know this feels like a really weird time to be celebrating,” she said “But, I just want to say there is hope in the young people out there. I know that our TV show doesn’t always feel like a great example of that, but there is hope in our young people and I just want to say to all my peers out there doing the work in the streets, ‘I see you, I admire you, I thank you.'”

Thank you Zendaya for the being the shining light you are!
