We can always count on Zendaya to come through with a breathtaking editorial cover, and her InStyle spread is no exception. Photographed by the talented duo Ahmad Barber and Donte Maurice, the “Euphoria” star is a vision with loose curly tresses styled by Larry J. Sims and a soft beauty beat crafted by Sheika Daley.

Styled by Law Roach, the beauty gave us a lesson in model behavior rocking colorful pieces from an array of Black designers including Hanifa, Romeo Hunte, Victor Glemaud, Cushnie, Christopher John Rogers, Tori Sudan, Pyer Moss, Aliétte and Thebe Mangu. Inside the mag, the star shares her journey with anxiety, life during quarantine, working with Black creatives, her activism work with Black Lives Matter, and so much more.

“I’ve always had a Black stylist and Black hair and makeup artists,” she tells the magazine. “But we were able to work with two talented young Black photographers on this shoot too. We’re actually around the same age, so it was cool to be with my peers and have an opportunity to show what we can do. There are also so many Black designers people don’t know about, so having an opportunity where they can be in InStyle and get the love they deserve is really special. I hope people are like, “Oh, I like that dress!” And then go support them.”
