Comedian Amanda Seales just hosted her first-ever awards show for the 2020 BET Awards Sunday (June 28) and she rocked all Black designers for the special occasion.

To say this is a time to celebrate all-Black everything would be the understatement of the year. Add to that the fact that Amanda is known for being vocal on issues that impact the Black community, and we just knew she’d put her own touch on the virtual event.

Her stylist Bryon Javar took to Instagram to reveal that every single one of her looks for the evening came courtesy of a Black designer. “I used ALL BLACK DESIGNERS, JEWELRY & SHOE BRANDS for all 13 looks,” he captioned a pic.

The former The Real co-host posed it up ahead of the ceremony, showing off a red ruffle dress from Grayscale and shoes by TTOS.

Even her hair products were all Black- and Brown-owned. Celeb hairstylist Nicole Newland shared that she used Luster’s, Oyin Handmade, Jass Products, and Afro Sheen while crafting her braided halo.
