Summer is here, and as many of us know, one of the best summer accessories is healthy glowing skin. It is not about just what you put on your skin. To truly “glow up,” you have to do so from the inside out. Here are five simple tips on achieving healthier, summer skin!

TIP 1: Hydrate! 

Hydration is key to giving the skin that plump, dewy look. And it does not have to be just plain water. Think summer fruits, vegetables and water infusions. For example, watermelon is about 90 percent water, contains substances like lycopene that can help protect skin against the damaging UV rays of the sun and vitamin C that helps the body make collagen. One small study saw smoother skin with a higher intake of lycopene. Also, consider water infusion with your favorite flavors such as cucumbers and lemons.
