App Cherie Launches $100K Future Beauty Fund To Support LA-Based Beauty Businesses

As funds for the CARES Act and other government programs meant to support small businesses during coronavirus closures dry up, many local efforts continue to rise up. The latest is beauty app Cherie which has launched a $100K effort to support LA-based beauty businesses.

The first part of the Future Beauty Fund will provide 10 small beauty businesses $5K each based on reader nominations and votes. Businesses have until May 10 to enter and receive votes.


In addition, 50 licensed beauty professionals will be paid up to $1,000 each to serve as beauty experts and create content on the site.
