Men’s grooming brand Bevel has announced a new partnership with Urban Prep Academies to cover the costs of college tours, application fees, and test prep fees for the classes of 2020 and 2021.

Urban Prep celebrated the new initiative with a special panel leading up to All-Star weekend, featuring The Chi’s Jacob Latimore, Miami Heat baller Kendrick Nunn, and Urban Prep CEO Tim King. The “Celebrate Your Inner All-Star” panel was moderated by WGCI radio host Kendra G.

Urban Prep Academies operates three open-enrollment public charter high schools in high-need communities in the city of Chicago and has a 100% college acceptance rate each year.

Bevel founder Tristan Walker said the program’s educational focus is dear to heart.

“[My Mother] did everything she could to ensure that I was set up for success and had the education that I needed,” he said in a statement. “Through education, I got to see how the other half lived. It completely changed my life. I got to see what success could look like…and it completely changed my worldview.”
