Funny woman Tiffany Haddish may be about saving coins on her red carpet looks (remember that white gown she’s been recycling), but she knows how to turn up the slay. Especially when teaming with award-winning stylist Law Roach.
The Black Mitzvah comedian gave us Grecian goddess vibes while draped in a luscious pink Galia Lahav gown paired with more than $100K worth of diamond-set Pomellato jewels and shimmery nude face beat by Mali Magic.
What we loved even more, though, is that she rocked her own tresses, styled into a chic bob coiffed by Ray Christopher.
And, staying true to Tiffany’s affordable-in-real-life mantra, Ray created the teased look using Sauve Professionals for Natural Hair collection. He first washed and prepped her hair using the line’s Sulfate-Free Shampoo ($5.51) and Moisturizing Curl Conditioner ($5.59) and blew out her hair with using Suave Cream Detangler Spray ($4.99). Once dry, he parted hair in small sections and used a one-inch flat iron to straighten the hair.
To create body and volume, he curled and lifted at the root of her crown and applied Define & Shine Gel Serum to reduce frizz and add shine.
Ray says the secrets to a great look are a great foundation — and freshly prepped hair. “A simple cut can help to create the layers necessary to proceed with simple curls,” he told Hype Hair.
For her beauty beat, Mali Magic used Pat McGrath’s new Skin Fetish as both foundation and contour and brought the drama with her Mothership VI: Midnight Sun and Mothership V: Bronze Seduction for her eyes and Lust: Gloss shade in Flesh for her lips.
