Atlanta-based stylist Mushiya Tshikuka has already proven she knows a thing (or twelve) about being a beauty boss. The former WE tv Cutting it in ATL star is founder of Damn Salon, Runway Curls hair extensions and even a My Natural Doll giving young Black girls all of the beauty representation we can stan.
Now, she has officially opened up the doors Runway Curls Salon Suites, which she hopes will become a haven for Atlanta’s beauty and wellness industry.
The state-of-the-art facility features fully furnished single and double salon suites, including salon chair, shampoo and dryer systems, full wall mirror, and built-in retail shelving.
There are also individual booth rentals as well as an education and training lounge featuring classes by renowned master cosmetologists.
The one-stop beauty destination will also house up to 45 beauty and wellness entrepreneurs providing such services as specialized skincare treatments, makeup, brow and lash treatments, nail care, and massage therapy.
“From the moment we conceived the idea that birthed the Runway Curls Salon Suites, I knew we had quite the undertaking on our hands,” said Mushiya, who co-founded the space with her husband and manager, Louis Smith.
“The planning, investing, building, and marketing, all of these things were vital and took meticulous attention to detail so that our vision for the suites could become realized. Our hard work has paid off, and after two years of construction, the Runway Curls Salon Suites are open!”
Runway Curls Salon Suites is located at 780 North Highland Avenue Northeast in Atlanta. Find out more about the new venture at runwaycurlssalonsuites.com.
