At just 14 years old, Lexi P. is already a beauty boss in her own right. She launched her natural haircare brand Curlanistas (with the help of her mom) when she was just 12. Since then, she has made headlines for celebrating natural hair and won several awards for her business acumen.

“I started Curlanistas from the need to embrace my own natural hair after a childhood of being teased,” said Lexi in a recent statement.  “Through self-love and personal empowerment, I overcame my hair struggles and even turned them into a lucrative business opportunity. There is nothing wrong with being natural. It is who we are, and we should be confident in our natural state.”

Now, she has launched the Curlanista Boss Network to not only help young girls, ages 6-16, love their natural hair, but also make some coins in the process.

“I wanted to create a movement among other girls just like me where they too can learn to love their natural curls while taking their power back and pursuing their dreams.”

The network is looking to serve as a free incubator to help 1,000 girls level up on their boss and entrepreneurship skills. This includes monthly mentorship coaching calls with Lexi, commission on sales they make and advanced access to new product releases and giveaways. In addition to being bosses, they will learn to serve face while sharing their own tips and experiences in caring for their natural hair.
