As if there was any doubt, Zendaya is the “it” girl of the moment when it comes to, well, pretty much anything.
The actress has made her mark as a beauty and style icon, become a true red carpet princess and given us elevated fashion goals with her collection with fashion house Tommy Hilfiger.
Now, she is making it easy for melanated beauties to find the perfect red lip in a new drop with Lancôme. She recently teamed with the luxe beauty brand to serve as the face of its new L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream.
She worked with the brand to drop not one, but 12 red hot shades in her first makeup campaign drop as the brand’s ambassador. The new collection also includes three gem-cut limited edition offerings for three of its shades.
The 12 lippies range from a pale pearly pink to a deep brick red. Zendaya’s personal shade is RubieZ — a deep rich red. All of the other hues also play on the ruby theme, with names such as Bad Blood Ruby, Black Prince Ruby, and Rosewood Ruby.
Lancôme shares that new lippie collection is 25% more pigmented than the original L’Absolu Rouge and contains Pro-Xylane, a Lancôme-patented molecule that moisturizes and replenishes lips. It is also infused with rose flower extracts, natural sesame oils and tourmaline for added nourishment.
Even the lippie bullet plays off of the ruby theme with a multifaceted crystal-shaped design for one-swipe application.
