#LegendaryStyle: Optimum Launches New Amla Legend Products With Celebrity Hairstylist Johnny Wright and Tracee Ellis Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross and Johnny Wright for AMLA LegendNo snowstorm could stop the SoftSheen-Carson’s Optimum Salon Care show that went down in NYC earlier this week!

Hosted by SoftSheen-Carson’s artistic director Johnny Wright and actress Tracee Ellis Ross in Chelsea’s swanky Dream Hotel, an intimate event went off without a hitch to present the haircare brand’s newest innovations of the AMLA Legend Rejuvenating Ritual line: Amla Legend Miraculous Black Oil Dull Defying Haircolor and Amla Legend Oil-Infused Styling Ritual (Enchanted Finish Hold + Polishing Spray, Treasured Temple Edge Tamer and Lustrous Body Blow Dry Mousse).

During the informative session, both Ross and Wright described the benefits of amla oil, which include its light weight and moisturizing properties, its ability to stimulate blood circulation (the number one reason for healthy hair growth, says Wright!) and how it matches up against other essentials hair oils. Johnny, who is the mastermind behind Michelle Obama’s beautiful bangs and styles, also demonstrated on the models how the new Amla products help define curls, bring out the richness in your haircolor, especially if you use the dye, and provide shine.

As for Ms. Ross’ must-haves from the entire AMLA collection? Body Filler Hair Wash ($6.99), Billion Hair Potion ($9.99), Rejuventation Oil ($9.99) and the Treasured Temple Edge Tamer ($6.99). So for roughly $24 plus tax, your hair can be volumous, healthy and shiny like Tracee’s locks!
