Known for rocking a rainbow of colors, this time she opted for a darker hue styled by Alonzo Arnold.

“For the red carpet, Meg wanted a look that was classic, but still gave that extra length she could whip over her shoulder at any moment,” said Alonzo.

The beauty took to the stage with a pre-show performance of her song “Big Ole Freak” with her tresses keeping in formation the entire set, so we had to know what Alonzo used. Turns out the hair guru had a super affordable drugstore find in his arsenal.

“I ran Suave Professionals for Natural Hair Define & Shine Gel Serum ($4.99) through [Megans’s] inches to hold shape and tame any flyaways,” shared Alzono. It’s important to note he did this before sectioning and flat-ironing hair, leaving her with flowing hair without a greasy buildup. He then sectioned and flat-ironed her hair, finished off the look with Suave Professionals Firm Control Finishing Hairspray.

Now that’s a pro-tip we all can use!
