Rihanna is once again making money moves with her latest business venture. The Bajan baddie is officially launching a fashion label with French luxury house Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH). Hype Hair first reported the news back in January, and it’s now official — with the label bearing her last name: Fenty.

The new fashion move — which will include clothing, shoes, and accessories — makes RiRi both the first woman of color to lead a house under LVMH and the first woman to ever create an original brand for the group.
It also marks the first new label under LVMH since 1987, joining such iconic brands as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Givenchy.
The new house, which launches in spring, is a “unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits,” said Rihanna in a recent statement. “I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”
Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH, gave Rihanna glowing praises for her entrepreneurial savvy.
“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader,” he said.
Stay tuned for updates when the house launches.
