If you’ve been going through Ivy Park withdrawal, fret no more
Not only will we get a whole new collection of fitness clothing designs, Beyoncé will also develop new signature shoes, as well as performance- and lifestyle-focused apparel with the footwear giant.
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to relaunching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
Beyonceé first launched Ivy Park two years ago with Topshop mogul Phillip Green. After cutting ties with the brand last November amidst racial discrimination and sexual harassment allegations, Queen Bey became “one of the first Black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand. She will maintain 100% ownership with the new partnership.
“Beyoncé is an iconic creator but also a proven business leader, and together, we have the ability to inspire change and empower the next generation of creators,” said Eric Liedtke, Adidas Global Brands executive board member.
