Janet was the only person of color inducted into this year’s hall of fame.

“In 1997, my brothers were recognized for their musical contribution by being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and I was so proud of them,” said Janet while accepting the award. “Tonight their baby sister has joined them.”
