Immerse yourself in a beauty getaway at the 2017 Project Beauty Expo featuring natural, indie beauty and wellness products for women of color. Geared toward changing industry perceptions, the second annual beauty and health expo has created a platform to not only highlight conscious, indie beauty brands and their founders, but all also for women of color to connect with likeminded enthusiasts and get educated in wellness and lifestyle.
“We’re so excited to bring PBE to New York City!,” said Project Beauty Expo founder Brittany Brown. “It’s the first beauty expo of its kind created with the brown, natural beauty enthusiast in mind. We can’t wait to share the wealth of knowledge from our panelists, as well as (re)introduce some truly wonderful natural brands.”
Featured brands included Eden Bodyworks, Curls Courtesy Of, Brown Crayon Project, Skot Beaute, Forever Wild Organics, CRWN Mag, Girl and Hair, Lauren Napier, Butter and Nectar, Hi Wildflower and Cinta Soul. Confirmed speakers include Selma Idris (Brown Crayon Project), Lauren Napier (Lauren Napier Beauty), Vic Styles (Here Now Us) and Lauren Ash (Black Girl In Om, Ivory and Ash, Party Noire) who will lead panel discussions throughout the day. Attendees will also be treated to express manis by Dear Sundays and gift bags.
