Georgia-based Glam Squad Hair has partnered with The Cut Life and StyleBlazer to host its first-ever beauty brunch this month. The “Bosses Link Up Beauty Brunch” brings together beauty and entrepreneurial experts and celebrities to talk business and self empowerment.
Glam Squad Hair CEO Shemicka Johnson said she created the event to fill a void she noticed in Macon, GA to “educate the community on beauty, fashion, and entrepreneurship.”
The beauty empowerment brunch will include an interactive panel, brunch, of course, girl chat for established and aspiring beauty and fashion entrepreneurs looking to take their careers to the next level.
Guest celebrity panelists include Tahira Joy, co-founder of “The Cut Life”, former “R&B Divas” reality star and singer Meelah Williams who will be joined by makeup expert Brandi V, certified credit consultant Akira J. Dixon, The Weave Shop founder Latonya Saunderson and Johnson.
Johnson’s Glam Squad Hair weave line has become a go-to for middle Georgia residents and has been seen on such celebrities as VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” reality stars Rasheeda Wallace and Erica Dixon, as well as Porsha Williams from Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta”.
