| I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS. THE FIRST ONE IS MY HAIR GROWS REALLY SLOW AND I HAVE BEEN GROWING IT SINCE 2008. NOW THAT IT IS ALMOST 2013, MY HAIR IS NOW AT MY SHOULDERS AND DREADED. HOW DO I GET MY HAIR TO GROW LONGER AND WAIST LENGTH SO I CAN HAVE DREADS LIKE DAMIAN MARLEY? THE SECOND IS IM A SOON TO BE STYLIST AT EMPIRE BEAUTY SCHOOL IN PHILADELPHIA AND I AM NOW WORKING WITH A MANNEQUIN WHO HAS VERY VERY LONG HAIR AND IT KEEPS GETTING TANGLED ALL THE TIME. I WASH IT, COMB IT, AND DO SO MUCH BUT IT STILL GIVES ME A HARD TIME UNTANGLING IT. WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR THE BOTH OF OUR HAIR? |
Hype Hair |
| Hair growth is determined by many factors, and on average, grows between 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches each month. So it is going to take a lot of patience to get your hair to the length of Damian Marley's, who has been growing his dreads for years! If your hair is already in locs, try visiting a loc specialist every few weeks to give them special care and use products specifically geared to those with locs. As for the mannequin that you are working with in cosmetology school, ask your instructor how to shampoo the hair properly. This makes a huge difference in preventing tangles as much as possible. |

| Hi. I'm Indian, and I have hair that is really really thick and poofy. My hair's between straight and wavy, and myhair is also frizzy. How can I make my hair more sleek and not frizzy. And is there a way to do this without using heat and a lot of chemicals? Thanks! |
Hype Hair |
| Sure! Try products that help prevent frizz, such as
Morroccanoil Frizz Control. It saturates each strand of hair, providing them with de-frizzing protection and all without weighing down your strands. The end result is smooth, sleek hair that is frizz free all day, no matter what the temperature is!

| How does Tiny dye Zonnique's hair and do she do a sew in with braids or without braids? |
Hype Hair |
| Tiny's personal hairstylist Shekinah Anderson does her hair, and uses different hair techniques to achieve Tiny's fabulous looks! You can definitely use the sew in weaving technique to get her styless. You can also use clip in hair pieces as well. |

| Hi! I just turned 15 not to long ago ! I am mixed with white ,Indian ,& black
I want to say I have white people hair cause it's really thick & curly!
Well I dyed my hair sevarial times & have been for atleast a year back to back & I bleached it then permed it about a week later !& it came out except around my hair line the hairs are long ,but bridle & week I have 3 bald spots(middle ,right side ,& left side)
& I don't know what I should do I really want my hair ,back !I am 5'6 & my hair came down to my butt! Please!Help me !i have been using smooth gro for a week! But iwant your advice !Please tell me your oppion |
Hype Hair |
| The first thing we recommend is that you cease from dyeing your hair for a while, as it is wreaking havoc on your tresses. The important thing to remember is that hair dying is a chemical process, so you can't over lap too often. When you touch up your color, you should only do the roots of the hair and be no less than 6-8 weeks between procedures. While you are giving your hair a rest from having it color treated, you should deep condition it regularly and keep it moisturized daily, especially the ends of the hair. This will help with the brittle and dry damage that you have. We also recommend visiting a professional hair color expert to asses your damage and further assist you in correcting your problem areas. For future reference, never do your own hair color. Have all hair color treatments done by a professional to prevent as much damage to your hair as possible. |

| Hi, I have gotton relaxers in the past, but a few years ago all my hair came out because I was given Kemo. My hair began growing back very well so I decided not to put another relaxer in and try going natural. being natural is very difficut for me to do. It's very difficult for me to maintain. I have been strongly considering being relaxed again. Will relaxing my hair slow the growth of my hair and/or thin it out? My hair became thicker and grew faster when it was in it's natural state. I love the thickness and my length but I'm afraid that if I relax it I will lose it. |

I sweat a lot day and night and can't hold curls and like I have stated I do not want a perm anymore so would braids be a best bet for me or which hair style would you recommend? And what products could I use to stop the thinning, shedding, falling out to promote growth and healthy hair? Please advise!! Thank You Shenehneh in Alabama |

| Hello miss I'm trying to grow my hair 16 inches which product would help with the process and also do u know any type of natural relaxer? |
Hype Hair |
| Growing the hair takes a lot of patience and a pristine hair care regimen. This means no harsh pulling and tugging and over combing and brushing of the hair. Wearing protective styles such as braids and buns whenever possible to protect the ends. Over processing should be eliminated and moisturizing and deep conditioning the hair often is a must to keep the hair from drying and breaking. After determining what your hair type is, choose products that are formulated specifically for it. A good natural relaxer is the 100% Beauty PhytoRelaxer. It's fortified with egg and Soya extracts, is mild on the scalp, and gives you a healthy, stress-free hair relaxing experience. Atlanta based hairstylist Paula Britt used the product on singer Kelly Rowland's hair and highly recommends it. |

| I really enjoy your site and the helpful tips you give. My question is which oil is best for your hair? I've seen everything from aragan oil, coconut oil and jojoba oil. I've recently stop wearing weave and while my hair is long, it is not as thick as it was. Will using either of the oils I mention work to restore hair thickness? |
Hype Hair |
| We are huge advocates of natural oils because they are not only healthy for your hair, they are also very light so they won't weight the hair down. All of the oils that you mentioned are great for a variety of hair types. We would also suggest adding avocado, almond and olive oils to your list of essential oils. As for thickening your hair, try the Infusium 23 Volume Builder collection. |

| Hi my hair is 2 inches I want to grow my hair 16 inches long what should I kind of scarf to put on or eat drink or use to keep my hair growing |
Hype Hair |
| You should use a satin bonnet, scarf or pillow case to protect your strands as you sleep. Drink lots of water, as this keeps your body hydrated and a healthy body produces healthy, growing hair. Lots of fruits, veggies and proteins (chicken, fish, beans ect.) will do the same. Best wishes on your hair growing journey! |

| Try shampoos and other hair products that have protein in them. Protein strengthens and hair and helps ward off shedding. |

| Frequent flat ironing causes damage and weakening of the hair. Your hair should be fine and still grow if your hair is natural, but we suggest giving he flat ironing a rest for a bit. |

Hype Hair |
| The rate that your hair grows is often hereditary, but it usually grows up to one quarter of an inch to 1 and 1/2 inches a month. Patience is the key as is optimum hair care. Protect it at night with a satin cap or pillow case. Moisturize daily, keep all damage and split ends at bay with regular trims and use hair care products geared to natural hair. |

Hype Hair |
| Braided styles are great for the summer because the less you have to do with your hair, the better. Especially when it is steaming hot outside. They make great protective styles and there are so many looks to choose from. Just remember: Never have the hair braided to tight. You don't want to cause breakage around the edges. |

| Hi, im in need of some advice!! I got my hair cut 2yrs ago and im having a problem getting it to grow back, the back of my hair has grown but the top of my hair isnt growing at all. so what would you recommend?? Also my hair is very hard to manage it doesnt take to me straighten sometimes it just stays thick looking what can i do and how often should a person get their ends cut to keep it looking healthy or to help it grow??? thank you
|
Hype Hair |
| Only cut or trim the hair if there is damage and/or split ends. If you originally cut a lot of your hair off, it is going to take some time for it to grow back in. Some areas of the hair grow quicker that others. |

| My daughter just turned 1 (april 2012) and various ppl tell me I need to begin combing her hair. She has very fine, short, curly sides and back but the middle is course, dry and long. When she sweats those sides and back curl right up like a ring. Both of my sisters in law use those black rubber bands but I hate them. They are the only thing that seem to hold her hair.I have used them and allowed her to sleep in them twice. I dont want to put the wrong products in her hair but that thick middle part is usually tangled and dry. Im thinking about getting a satin pillow for her as well? Should I even comb and put products in her hair? |
Hype Hair |
| Rubber bands are the worst things you can use on your childs hair. If you must use hair holders, try the ones with the satin covering over them. They help prevent breakage. Try the Hype Hair Satin hair holders. You can find them at Walmart. |

|
Hype Hair |
| We believe that braids are one of the most excellent protective styles you can use on natural hair that also helps the hair to grow. Don't braid the hair too tight, however or this may have a adverse affect. Deep condition often and look into overhauling what you put into your body as well. A healthy, balanced diet that includes protein and lots of green leafy vegetables helps the hair to not only grow but exude a healthy glow. |

| Hi my hair is naturally thick and curly from birth. When I was 16 I permed it for the first time and ever since I've been doing it. My hair will only last in my hair for about 2 weeks and go back but when I wash my hair it is breaking off a lot. Is it because of the perm? |
Hype Hair |
| It could be because you are relaxing your hair too often. Wait 6 to 8 weeks between each relaxer before doing a new one and then, only relax the new growth. |
| |
Stace-jackson : Posted On: Apr 23, 2012

| My hair is mid-length and healthy. Never had a perm and im about to be 14. Should i die my hair red. Like bright blood red and have an up do lik zonnique pullins had on the cover but how do you do that hairstyle? |
Hype Hair |
| Zonnique's updo was created by celebrity hairstylist Shekinah Anderson. She suggests shampoo and condition the hair and then sweeping the hair up into a ponytail. Wrap the loose hair around until you have a secure bun. Pin the bun in place with hairpins. With hair that is left out at the front, tease the hair at the front and middle until you have a precise pin curl affect like Zonnique's. Spray with hairspray to hold the style. You do not have to dye your hair to get Zonnique's style. You ca create the look with extension hair that is the same color as hers or the red color that you like. |

| I have a 7 year old daughter and she has coarse hair her sides are very short and continues to have breakage I use straight request hair products and ultra sheen for dry hair. I have not had her ends trimmed because her hair is already short do you recommend that i get them trimmed any way to promote growth? I need help!!! I can't afford to go to the beauty shop every two as I have heard. And is braids a good choice for trying to grow her hair |
Hype Hair |
| Braids are an excellent choice, but they should be too tight. As for growth, try to avoid products like heavy greases that will clog the pores. If you must insist on a hair pomade, we love the Bergamont brands for kids. They make the hair nice and soft and manageable. Trimming the ends is only needed if there is damage and a lot of split ends. But you don't don't have to trim a lot off. Just lightly "dust" the ends every couple of months. |

| Hi, I have a 2 and a half year old baby girl biracial, she has really soft, thin, and curly hair, but it doesnt grow much for a biracial baby, and it breaks easily on the tips. I cut it once to even it out when she was 1 and a half years old since then the middle is long again but the sides still short like when she was one. Her nails too get broken really easily so I started using jojoba oil but nothing. I heard that hair and nails have some kind of relation in a growing process, so I was wondering what kind of products are suitable for a baby that can be good for treating her hair and nails without being too agressive for her health? Thank you
Anna from france |

| She should definitely be eating healthy balanced meals whenever possible because this also contributes to healthy hair and nails. On the side of products, we recommend products that are geared to naturally textured hair like your daughters. Try the Mixed Chicks line of products. They are excellent! |

| HI I really need help. I have a 4and half year old beautiful biracial dauaghter. Her hair was perfect when a baby but as the years pass it gets more and more kinky. So 6 months ago I put a texturizer on thinking it's not a relaxer. Regreted it as soon as we washed it out, since then her hair has driven me crazy i just want to shave her head. Not really but don't know what else to do. Took her and got it trimmed but what else do i need to do to get it back to the natural beautiful hair she had? Thanks for any advice you can give me. |
Hype Hair |
| We do not suggest relaxed for children with naturally wavy textured hair, as it sometimes permanently alters the natural curl pattern of the hair. There are hair products on the market that can help make the styling process easier and more manageable. We recommend products from the Mixed Chicks hair care line, as well as the Curly Q line for kids. |

| Okay this is my hair treatment routine..I wash (every 2 wks) w/ Pantene for colored hair, Deep condition w/ Profectiv Mega Growth conditioner && Root to Ends Green Tea & Shea Butter Deep Treatment, then I do a hot oil treatment (evry 2 wks) or a protein treatment (every 4-6 wks) because I heard too much protein on colored hair can be damaging, and lastly I use Jon Freida High Heat Protection before I blow dry, press and flat Iron my hair (I have very thick hair)and I use Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner...I also use essential oils like Tea tree oil, Vitamin E, Coconut etc. through out the week. So my question is will my hair grow fast if I keep this up or am I doing something wrong? |
Hype Hair |
| Your hair care routine is great. Keep doing what you are doing, pay close attention to the ends to make sure they are in healthy order and make sure you include lots of protein in your diet because it helps the hair to grow. Keep up the good work! |

| How do I find the. Right routine to get my hair grow Thnxx. |
Hype Hair |
| Every head of hair is different. So what you have to do first is determine what your hair type is. Coarse, fine, textured, wavy, ect and use products geared toward your hair type. Also, protecting your hair as you sleep, trimming off unhealthy ends and eating right factors in as well. |

| Hi,my hair is in singles and it is very short not even to my ears i have mixed hairand it is dry and brittle is there anything you could reccomend to me to grow my hair long at least to my back as fast as you can i really need long hair thanks.ps ive tried massaging my ccalp dailyand putting my hair upsidedown does that help thanks. |
Hype Hair |
| Achieving long hair takes lots of dedication, work, and most of all the most supreme hair care. You have to find the routine that is best for your type and stick to it no mater what, but you must be patient. The top things we suggest is to keep the hair clean and moisturized at least once a week. Trim off all damaged and/or split ends. Where protective styles as much as possible and maintain a healthy diet that includes lots of protein (chicken, fish, green leafy vegetables, legumes, ect.) and always use products that are specifically geared to your hair type. |

| I kove Hype Hair. Can you get sleek smooth hair with a roller set? My hair stylist gave me a relaxer and I asked for a roller set; after drying and taking the rollers out my hair was like an afro. She told me I could never get the sleek look with a roller set, only a flat iron could do that. |
Hype Hair |
| Your hair will definitely be curly after a roller set, but what you can do is ask your stylist for a wrap set the next time. This technique includes cleansing and conditioning the hair, after which a setting lotion is then applied to the hair. Next, the hair is wrapped around the perimeter of the head and you are then set under the dryer until the hair dries. The end result, is the smooth, sleek look that you desire! |

| i am black and asian and I have been getting perms for almost 5 years now. My last perm was October and I dyed it jet black 2 weeks later. I haven't had a perm since then and I was thinking about going natural. The back of my hair is short about 3 inches due to breakage and the rest is to my shoulders. I use Motions and Olive Oil products. My questions are 1.) Am i using the right products? 2.) If I perm it after being natural for a while will my hair break off worse? 3.) What will stop the breakage and what are the best products for my hair type? |
Hype Hair |
| Firs, Motions is an excellent line of hair products and we do recommend them. Your hair shouldn't break off after relaxing as long as you are conditioning and moisturizing regularly and trimming off damaged ends. Try products that have protein in them to help stop shedding and breakage. |

Hype Hair |
| When wearing a weave, you must continue to take care of your natural hair undearneath the same way you would if you were not wearing a weave. Continue to wash and condition regularly and never leave a weave in for longer than 3 months. |

| Hi i have nautral hair that is very thick and course i do not want a perm but it is very hard to maintain. hair gel doesnt work as it just curls up whenever it touches something that has moisture to it. When it is wet it curls up but after it air dries it becomes nappy and course...What products would you recommend i use to keep my hair looking curly and soft after it dries?? and is there anything i can use to straiten my hair without perming it??? |
Hype Hair |
| As I Am, Mixed Chicks and SheaMoisture hair products are all great for maintaining natural hair. As for straightening the hair without relaxing, we recommend investing in a good quality ceramic or tourmaline flat iron, like the one by Fusion Tools. Always use a protective spray before using heat on your hair and protect it at night with a scarf or hair bonnet. |

| I have never had a perm but lately I have been thinking about getting a perm, and getting my ends clipped, how often is a person suppose to get a perm???? |
Hype Hair |
| Getting a relaxer after wearing your hair natural for so long is a big step to take. But if you decide to take the leap, you should relax only the roots (new growth) every every six to 8 weeks as the new growth comes in. We recommend getting this process done by a qualified professional. |

| Hi my name is shantel again and i was going to target and im sure you heard of shea moistures so im buying shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie which is a leave in conditioner and then the shampoo and the deep masque which is a deep conditioner. Now i wet my hair everyday i wash my hair which ill be washing it with the shea moisture shampoo and masque on wednesdays and then what i do is i use the deep conditioner 2 times a week so wednesday and saturday and since i wet it also i don't know if it will be too much on my hair to keep reaplying the curl enhancing smoothie on my hair and they also have styleing milk too which i don't know if i can wash out or leave in cause i reaply? |
Hype Hair |
| Shea Moisture products are excellent and we highly recommend them! They also have a great skin care line that works amazingly well.As for your question about whether or not you can use their products consistently, you absolutely can. As long as you cleanse your hair and scalp regularly, getting rid of the product build-up, it's ok and perfectly safe to use the curl enhancer and styling milk as often as needed. |

| I have relaxed hair that is really thick and dry. It is hard to find a good moisturizer for me that doesn't end up weighing my hair down. What would you recommend? |

| hi, i just want to start off by saying i love hype hair. it has done so much for me, but im having a problem. ive been wearing weave cornrolls to the back and my hair is short. i dont have a perm( major problem) so my question is how can i get my hair to grow fast like wat product line. |
Hype Hair |
| Thank you so much for your support of Hype Hair! as for your question, it is always good to change up your style once in a while. Wearing the same style for a while can put increased pressure on certain areas of your hair and cause breakage. Take a break from the weave cornrows for a while. Try Luster's Pink Hair Lotion to keep your hair strong, soft, manageable and moisturized. |

Tierra : Posted On: Nov 30, 2011
|
| how can you notice new hair growth when you didn't have a perm for months |
Hype Hair |
| If your hair is already relaxed, even if you don't have a relaxer for months, you should still be able to notice the new growth, as the hair at the roots will be much thicker than your pre-relaxed hair. |

Hype Hair |
| Due to the changes happening in your body, your hair will go through all sorts of changes as well, so no need to panic just yet.We don't recommend using any chemicals in your hair during pregnancy but do talk to your doctor about your recent hair breakage just to be on the safe side. |

| I would like to know what is a good flat iron spray or oil to use? Also, is the use of a tourmaline flat iron better than a ceramic flat iron? Thank you in advance for your advice.. |
Hype Hair |
| Try Cantu Shea Butter Flat Iron Spray. As for flat irons, the difference between the Tourmaline flat irons and the ceramic is in the number of negative ions each iron has. The negative ions give the hair a silky, healthy and shiny look. Both irons have negative ions, however, the tourmaline's usually have more. |

| Hello HypeHair I need some help. Ok my birthday is coming up & I want to get a total new look. I want something simple but with some edge so I decided I want to get the Eva Marcille platinum blonde hair styles & cut. I'm Black & have kinky hair, right now my hair is a natural afro, no perms or chemicals I want to bleach it to the platinum blonde but I also need a way to straighten my hair. I am told I can't perm my hair once it's bleached. Is this true? If not can I perm it & how long to wait & what precautions should I take? What other methods of straighten my hair can I use? |
Hype Hair |
| We recommend waiting at least two weeks after relaxing your hair to have it colored. If you prefer not to take any risks, you can still silken your hair after it is colored by using a quality ceramic flat iron. Try the Fusion brand. |

| Hi, My Hair Is growing out from being permed, shaved in the back and on the sides and long nose length bang. I am trying to grow it out, so i have stop getting perms and am using the Aphogee Hair Care Line. Do you think this is a good brand for my type of hair. I also plan on getting a perm again in April, is it safe to be so "on and off" with perms? |
Hype Hair |
| We don't recommend being on and off with perms, but if this is the routine that works best for you, be sure to take good care of it by deep conditioning often to keep it strong and resilient. In the meantime, continue with the Aphogee hair care line, a brand we highly recommend! |

My hair stay so dry and causing breakage.. |

| We recommend trying the no-lye relaxers on the market. To combat dry hair, use a daily hair lotion to keep the hair moisturized. Give your edges a rest from braids and in the meantime, try the Temple Balm from the Organic Root Stimulator system. |

| hi hype hair my hair is short and really damaged and then i had to kinda cut sum weave bonding glue aout of my hair so it is really really un even all over so my qustion is what can i do to get my hair back growing and healthy? |
Hype Hair |
| You should never apply bonding glue directly to the scalp and when you decide to remove a bonding glue weave, you should always saturate the weave tracks with an oil-based bonding glue remover to loosen the glue before removing the wefts. Never yank, tear or pull weave tracks from your hair. In the meantime, give your hair a rest from bonding glue weaves and shampoo and condition your hair on a weekly basis to help the hair and scalp to recover. |

Hype Hair |
| The problem could stem from pulling the hair back to tightly in a bun. Wearing buns are great protective styles, but it could cause damage if they are too tight. Loosen it a little and see how how well you fare with that. |

| My hair is thick, short, and damaged. How do I get it to grow healthy? Please help me. |
Hype Hair |
| Starting from the inside out makes a big difference in the appearance of your hair. Choosing a healthy diet is one of the biggest keys to growing a healthy head of hair. Include fruits, protein (chicken), nuts, vitamins, green leafy vegetables and lots of water regularly to your diet daily. Also, choose protective styles like buns, chignons or braids so you don't have to use heat styling tools that often and always protect your hair at night with a satin scarf or hair bonnet. |

Hype Hair |
| You seem to be very attentive to the care of your hair, which is a good thing. As long as you are not noticing any breakage, you can keep doing what you are doing. You don't, however, necessarily need to wet your hair every day. This can cause the hair to dry out and strip out the natural oils. |

| Bantu knots can help the hair to grow because its a protective style you can wear for a while without having to style it everyday.Washing the hair everyday can cause the hair to become stripped of its natural oils, but no two heads of hair are the exactly same and you know your hair better than anyone. So shampoo only when needed and use products that moisturizes as it cleanses. |

| I recently got my hair cut in layers with highlights. I love the highlights but hate the layered cut. My hair is thinning at the crown but I want just a short cropped cut. Will that work with that thinning spot in the crown of my head? |
Hype Hair |
| You can try to We recommend the net cap weave technique to cover up thinning crown. |

| My hair is natural, fine, thin and hard to keep moisture. I have tried so many different products to get my hair to grow, thicken up and retain moisture. I haven't had any luck with finding the right products. HELP!!!!! I have become weave queen, tired of the weaves and wig, I want to wear my natural hair but it's not in the best condition. Do anybody have any suggestions? |
Hype Hair |
| You should try a light oil that you can use daily on your hair. Try Aphogee Essential Oils or the Doo Gro brand oil product for thickening the hair. |

| My hair is natural and I am would like a little more flex to my style.
A friend has been telling me about a blow out that you put on your hair and it last for three months. What is this? |
Hype Hair |
| Only a chemical process can allow your hair to stay blown out for long periods of time. Visit a professional who specializes in natural hair to help you with this process. |

Hype Hair |
| Start using deep conditioning treatments on her hair, and use a wide tooth comb for gentle combing. Protect her hair at night to prevent breakage as she sleeps and use a hair dress on her hair whenever its dry. |

| My hair is beginning to fall out due to me not getting it trimmed. I try to trim it myself in-between salon visits but I really don't know what I'm doing. Can you tell me how to trim my own hair???? Also, for those of us who can't afford to visit the salon, what is the best boxed perm to use??? I use Olive Oil but is it the best?????
Thanks!!! |
Hype Hair |
| The hair should be trimmed every 6 weeks if there is a presence of split ends throughout the hair.Comb the hair straight down and snip a quarter of an inch off to keep the ends healthy. |

| My questions is, how do you get the curls to stay curled? I refuse to use hair wax, it is too thick and I don't like how it makes my hair look after I'm finished styling it. I don't like spritz because it leaves a residue on my hair, and when I'm curling my hair, the spritz will burn and sear my hair. Not only do I have an issue w/ keeping my hair curled, I have an issue w/ controlling the frizz. What methods and/or products can I use that will allow my hair to hold and reduce the look of frizz? That is, w/o burning it or making it look dirty or oily. |
Hype Hair |
| Wet sets are great for long last curls. You don't need a lot of product for it. Just setting lotion to set the curls. You can pin curl the hair at night to maintain the curls. |

| Try Doo Gro Mega Thick hair products to thicken those thinner places. |

| Hi there!
I need your help. Are there any products that I can use on my hair to help stop the breakage and to stop it from thinning? I have very fine hair and as a result I don’t perm it often, maybe twice or 3 times a year. This helps to keep it looking fuller and stops it from looking extra thin, but lately it’s grown but looks thinner than usual. Any advice on a deep conditioning treatment, or anything to help it grow and fill in a little more?
Thanks for your help!
-Be Blessed,
CB

| How do u manage fliped layered haircuts? |
Hype Hair |
| The best way to manage this type of style is to keep the layers cut as they start to grow out. You can manage the flips by setting them at night before bed. You could do a pin curl with bobby pins or try our Hype Hair Satin Foam rollers. Set the hair with the rollers by setting the curls going toward the nape. Just release the curls in the morning and your flips with be as good as new. |

| Hello, I desperately need some hair care advice. I have shoulder length thin relaxed hair. My hair is overprocessed from relaxers, demi hair colors, and permanent hair colors. It has thinned out so much. When I blow dry my hair it tangles and breaks so much of it ends up in the floor. Please tell me what I can do to stop the breakage, the shedding when I comb it, and how to bring my hair back to life from being overprocessed. I love that my hair is shoulder length and I would love not to loose anymore hair or it continues to thin out from the breakage and shedding.
Thank you Christine in Florida |

| Hello, I am a huge fan of HypeHair Magazine! I am badly in need of some hair care tips. I recently suffered from Liver Failure and my hair, nails, and teeth suffered horribly. I am in the process of getting everything back on track but my hair is still falling out. I am looking for a cute Bob style or anything to keep my hair down long enough that I dont have to keep combing it out. It needs to grow back and its tying to grow back but I am not helping by constantly combing it. I really love weave styles but the glue reaks havoc on my head! I just want to look pretty again or at least feel pretty. I am only 32 and I feel like I am 50 years old please help!
Thank You
