  1. Use a cotton ball and remove any old nail polish you may have on.
  2. Clip your toenails straight across with clippers and file and buff your toe nails to make them smooth.
  3. Get a large plastic bowl and fill it with warm soapy water.
  4. Soak your feet for ten to fifteen minutes.
  5. While your feet are in the water use an exfoliating sponge on your feet to get rid of dry skin.
  6. Rinse your feet and then gently pat them dry.
  7. Then apply a really good moisturizer.
  8. Once your feet are completely dry apply one coat of base coat and then two coats of your favorite color, and one clear topcoat.
