Urban Skin RX Celebrates Target Launch With Eva Marcille, Remy Ma & More

Urban Skin RX Target Launch

Last week, we attended a celeb-packed celebration of Urban Skin RX’s new launch in Target. The line officially hit target shelves January 21 and what better way to celebrate than with a party hosted by model/actress Eva Marcille and celeb guest like Remy Ma, Angela Simmons and Tara Wallace!

Beauty editors and influences also came through in support of founder Rachel Roff and her beauty brand that has earned a reputation for its award-winning clinical skin care for women of all skin tones. It also marked a major milestone for Rachel who first opened her business in 2006.

“This company has been my life has been my life for the past 12 years,” said Rachel. “And to be put in a place like Target, honestly, really does feel like a dream. They don’t really give that many small brands a chance so the fact that they were willing to take a chance on me, this is a dream come true.”

The event also featured skin analyses by aestheticians from Rachel’s Charlotte-based Urban Skin Solutions medical spa as well as demos of several of the brand’s offering including a limited edition of serums and its hero product: a trio of skin cleansing bars.

The cleansing bars retail for $12.99 apiece and feature a proprietary Clear Tone Advanced Technology system, comprised of seven key ingredients — including niacinamide, kojic acid and salicylic acid. The difference, shared one aesthetician, is that each bar has a different concentration to meet different needs.

The Clear Skin Cleansing Bar is designed for oil or acne prone skin, helping to soften and exfoliate skin while helping prevent breakouts; the Even Tone Cleansing Bar helps fight inflammation and promote even skin pigmentation; and the Anti-Aging Cleansing Bar helps address dry, rough skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis and hyperkeratinized skin.

A very pregnant and glowing Eva gushed over the skin care line, sharing that she swears by the Even Tone Cleansing Bar. Why does she love she most? “It’s affordable,” she said, “but more than anything, the results are amazing!”
