The singer-slash-ambassador of all things #blackgirlmagic stars in one of 10 covers, alongside other powerhouse personalities, including Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Nicole Kidman, Muzoon Almellehan and Gigi Hadid.

Her cover story features an intimate conversation about blackness, being a woman and celebrating her journey towards beautiful and becoming “a better human, better mother, better wife, better friend.”
“For so long this idea existed that, as black women, we could not be multifaceted and nuanced,” says Solange. “I’m excited I get to be this complex, complicated, loud, vocal, flawed woman and still be worthy of recognition. It only makes me want to keep evolving. Keep standing. Keep fighting to make sure my body is my body, my mind is my mind, my story is my story.
