Model Diandra Forrest is making beauty history as the first model with albinism to front a major beauty campaign. After being told as a child that she would never be a model, the beauty has been breaking down barriers left and right – stomping through NYFW shows and posing it up for Calvin Klein ads.

Now, the stunner is taking a starring role as one of five new faces to front Wet n Wild’s new Breaking Beauty campaign celebrating inclusivity as well as shining the light on physical characteristics mainstream has taught us to hide. According to her co-stars include cancer survivor and amputee activist Mama Cāx and transgender model, DJ and writer Valentijn de Hingh.

“I always wanted to be a part of a beauty campaign, especially with a brand that celebrates diversity and uniqueness,” Diandra said in a recent interview with Refinery29. “They’ve used models in the past that are different and are breaking the societal standards of what beauty is. I was thrilled to be partnering up with them, especially.”

Diandra is a complete stunner in the first image from the campaign, serving face in a deep contoured look with heavily pigmented metallic eye and shimmery nude pout.

She revealed that the brand offers up the perfect match for her skin tone, without mixing and matching.”They’re the perfect shades. When I showed up on set, I felt so comfortable. I’m always like, ‘Will they have my shade? Will it look correct?’ I always have to mix. The shade is either too dark or too pale. But Wet n Wild made me feel so beautiful.”

We can’t wait to see what she rolls out with next!
