It’s official. Zendaya has made her debut in her first-ever Vogue cover. The 20-year-old Disney stars fronts the cover in a sheer feathered Calvin Klein dress led by fashion editor Tonne Goodman and full feathered bangs styled by Shay Ashual.

Inside the feature, the “fashion-fearless” actress and activist is a talented chameleon playing up her editorial characters while making power moves on and off the screen. She also shares here experiences of being of mixed race, in Hollwood and in school.
“At her school, she was one of only a few black students. She remembers the first time she straightened her hair, and all the compliments she got: ‘That made me feel weird.'”
