Supermodel Jourdan Dunn hit all the right fashion notes this past Saturday at the launch of her LonDunn+ Missguided collection in London. The beauty was sports chic in a grey jogger and off-the-shoulder sweatshirt and a glorious East African-inspired cornrow hairstyle that had us swooning.
The beauty rocked what are called Albaso braids — large cornrows braided over rolled hair tubes alternating with smaller cornrows with loose kinky curly tresses in the back. The braided style is indigenous to Eritrean and Ethiopian Tigrayans groups of East Africa.
She took to Instagram to show off the ‘do braided by Zefan Braids with extensions installed by Renda Attia. She paid homage to the looks African roots with the hashtag #DoItForTheCulture.
What do you think of the model’s latest look?
