Actress Viola Davis made history at the Oscars last night as the first Black woman to win an Emmy, Tony and now Oscar for acting after taking home the best supporting actress award for her role in Fences.
Even before moving us with her powerful acceptance speech, the three-time Oscar nominee had already won on the beauty front in a stunning red Armani Privé gown and dramatic new ‘do and beauty beat that were, quite simply, everything.
The three-time Oscar nominee served up short cut envy in a lengthy layered pixie cut with piecy bangs and highlights by hairstylist Jamika Wilson. Jamika told PeopleStyle said her hair inspiration came from the dress. “I just wanted to go with a fresh look,” she said. “We wanted to go for a look that really showed off her beautiful features and neckline.”
Makeup artist Autumn Moultrie finished off Viola’s gorgeous look with a glowing face beat, golden lip and dramatic eye slay with heavy liner and lashes.
