Jurnee Smollet-Bell is simply gorgeous on her latest cover spread for Ebony‘s March 2017 issue. Lensed by Aaron Smith, the actress slays the cover donning a jumbo goddess braid bob crafted by Nikki Nelms and a soft glam face beat by Kindra Mann.
Styled by Jason Rembert, the beauty takes our breath away in a series of retro chic ensembles and vintage hair slays. The 30-year-old opens up to the mag about being a child star, colorism in Hollywood, her show Underground and so much more.
“Rosalee was underestimated, and I think that’s one of the ways I can relate to her. That’s something I’ve struggled with my entire life—people underestimating me. But also there’s a fire inside of her that sometimes she doesn’t even understand. There’s this inner strength that she has and in season 2; it’s almost like a manic strength, another superwoman strength.”
