Beyoncé is putting her stamp on the next generation of superstar-hopefuls. The NY Post reports that Queen Bey has signed three singers to her Parkwood Entertainment company for contracts totaling over $1.5M.
Two of the singers are sisters, Chloe Bailey, 17, & Halle Bailey, 15. The dreadlocked duo was offered a $1M contract for up to six albums over 5 years, with Beyonce retaining 15% of their gross earnings. The LA-based sisters have garnered more than 10 million hits on YouTube for their song covers, most notably Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts” and also were crowned champions of the Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing competition in 2012. The girls are known almost as much for their hair crush-worthy locs as they are for their powerhouse vocals.
The third singer is 14-year-old Sophie Beem who was a contestant on the “X-Factor” in 2012. Her contract totals $560K.
Both contracts are under review by a NY judge, since the girls are all under 18.
