I first gravitated toward the Mint Almond Oil because of its strong peppermint smell. After using it for three days, it gave my hair the moisture that it has been lacking for a while due to the cold weather. I often found myself simply playing with my hair because it was much more soft and moisturized.
In addition to the daily usage of the oil, I tried the Moisturizing Hairmilk. (Note: I didn’t use the hair milk as long as I used the almond oil). Like the oil, the scent was inviting and its thick but fluffy consistency is something I love.
I used it three times by itself: once with my hair damp and the other two with it dry, with nothing else. Although it does hydrate and moisturize, I still would recommend using the milk with another product for best results.
The part I didn’t love about the Moisturizing Hairmilk was that, unlike the easy-to-understand ingredients on the Mint Almond Oil label, its ingredients were less straightforward. However, it is free of parabens, there are no drying alcohols and no harmful chemicals or preservatives.
So, if you’re looking for 1-2 combo that moisturizes and hydrates, I recommend that you give Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil and Moisturizing Hairmilk a shot.
