Say it ain’t so, the spokesperson herself for flawlessness isn’t as picture perfect as we all thought. But then again, who is?
Today (Feb. 18) a very shady boots series of events occured as unretouched photos from Beyonce’s 2013 L’Oreal ad campaign surfaced online. In the photos, the leader of the Beyhive is seen looking like any ole’ girl you would see in passing at the mall – a few blemishes and bumps, your usual. But for many who are used to seeing Mrs. Carter airbrushed to perfection and beat to the Gods they are feeling a bit sour on this Wednesday, and we’ve got three words: get over it.
If anything, these photos are quite refreshing. Beyonce is human, which it seems that a lot of us forget. Societies standards of beauty are a huge ploy because even the “Flawless” singer is perfectly flawed.
