2. Change How You Wash
Hand washing is absolutely essential. But repeated washings, especially with soaps containing sodium lauryl sulfate, can trigger hand dermatitis, or very rough patches of dry skin. Washing your hands too much can suck all of the moisture out of your skin. Buy a soap-free cleanser or alcohol-free hand sanitizer. For extra soft hands and feet, slather on an essential oil or Vaseline at night and wear gloves and socks. When you wake up your skin will feel baby soft.
